Initially built by the Ford and Melvill families, who both have a common interest in the Eastern Cape heritage and the great outdoors. The camp was originally built as a private camp for family and friends, however many people have shown a keen interest in the camp and so we have decided to share this special spot with others.

Ford Outpost is situated on a private farm, alongside one of the Eastern Cape's private big five game reserves, close to Kenton-On-Sea, Eastern Cape, South Africa. Our focus was to build a bush camp that captures the look and feel of the years gone by, giving you a rustic African bush experience, while ensuring the finer details keep you comfortable during your stay.
